Dog I

By MargeryNo Comments

This class is for the dog over 35 pounds and/or over six months of age who has not taken a positive reinforcement-based training class before. It is never too late to start! Obedience exercises such as sit, stand, down, and stay are introduced, as are loose-leash walking, polite greetings, “leave-it”, attention, and the really reliable recall-skills crucial to the pet dog living in our human society. The owner will gain a better understanding of what dogs need and can be expected to achieve, as well as how to positively approach common problems that arise with dogs in the household.
